Florence, Italy - Architecture and Italian Culture

Come to Italy and immerse yourself in learning its rich culture and architecture. Based in Florence, you'll also explore Rome, Ravenna, Venice and Bologna, each city offering unique insights into Italian culture. This program promises an unforgettable experience in some of Italy's most iconic cities.

- ITAL 121 (3 units) Italian Culture with Professor Andrea Petri
- DESN 107 (3 units) The History of Western Architecture with Professor David Parker

- Visit Rome, Ravenna, Bologna and Venice
- Medieval town of Siena
- Dante's tomb
- Boboli Gardens

Housing
- Shared student residences with shared living spaces and kitchens. Single acccommodations may be available on a limited basis for an additional fee.
- Centrally located with a 30 minute walk to the AIFS Center

instructions and link)
- First-come, first-serve basis
- $450 deposit required to secure placement
- March 11, 2025 - Deposit deadline (program may fill up before this date)
- April 17, 2025 - Final Payment Deadline (entire program fee is due)
Cost
- MiraCosta College tuition and fees for 6 units
- Program fee: $4,195 - $4,475
* Final cost depends on the number of students enrolled

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
- March 18, 2025- on or before this date, $150 of the deposit is non-refundable
- March 19- April 17, 2025 - $450 deposit is non-refundable
- April 18, 2025- After this date, no refund and the total program fee is still owed.
Japan - Group Communications and Eastern Religions

Travel through Japan and dive deep into a culture where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with modern practices. As you explore vibrant cities and serene landscapes, you'll gain invaluable insights into both historical and contemporary perspectives. The program will start in Tokyo and head to Kyoto, Mt Koya and end in Osaka.
