Current high school students do not pay enrollment fees and have several options available to earn college credits through MiraCosta. The process of applying to MiraCosta is the same for all three categories of high school to college credit but the form and additional steps vary.

Articulated High School Courses
MiraCosta College faculty have articulation agreements with local high school teachers that provide the opportunity for students to earn college credit for their high school course if you meet all the requirements.
Concurrent Enrollment
(at MiraCosta or online)
Take college classes at a MiraCosta College campus or online and earn college credit. These courses may also be used to meet high school requirements.
Dual Enrollment
(at your high school campus or online)
Earn college credit and meet high school graduation requirements by taking MiraCosta College classes offered just for high school students on your campus or online.
Adult High School
(at the Community Learning Center)
Earn a high school diploma, or take classes to count towards credit at the high school you are currently attending. Classes are held at the Community Learning Center Campus.
