MiraCosta College is one of only 15 California community colleges authorized to offer
a bachelor's degree program. Upper degree coursework for the biomanufacturing bachelor's
degree began in fall 2017.
The degree program prepares students for work within the biotechnology industry in the unique environment of biological production where science thrives in partnership with quality and compliance.
Application deadline for Fall 2025 is November 15, 2024 for first consideration. Additional applications will be accepted until cohort of 30 is full.
Students who have completed the course prerequisites or are in progress and will have them completed by Spring 2025 are encouraged to apply. When you are ready to apply, please sign into your student account on SURF. You can find the application form in the Student Forms tile of the Student Center under the Admissions and Records section. The application for Fall 2025 admission is now available.
