San Diego LGBT Community Center
The Center is one of the largest and most vibrant LGBT community centers in the nation. It provides targeted programs and services to the full diversity of the San Diego LGBT community, including men, women, youth, seniors, transgender and non-binary individuals, families, LGBT Latino community members and their families, and those living with HIV.
The San Diego LGBT Community Center’s mission is to enhance and sustain the health & well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, non-binary, immigrant, and HIV communities to the betterment of our entire San Diego region.
North County LGBTQ Resource Center

Started in November 2011, the North County LGBTQ Resource Center services the communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Fallbrook, Camp Pendleton, and other outlying areas. Services include support groups for youth, seniors, military service members, HIV/AIDS testing and prevention, counseling, civil rights advocacy, classes, and workgroups.
The mission of the Lambda Archives of San Diego is to collect, preserve, and share the history of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people in San Diego, Northern Baja California and Imperial County region. Lambda Archives is dedicated to preserving and interpreting this important historical material and making it available for learning.
GLSEN San Diego County is a chapter of GLSEN, a national organization fighting for every student’s right to a safe, supportive education. The San Diego chapter supports students and educators, organizes around LGBTQ-affirming public policy, plans teacher trainings, and hosts events for students, educators, parents, and allies.

PFLAG offers support, education, and advocacy to LGBTQ+ persons, their families, friends, and allies. PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Did you know? In 2014, the organization officially changed its name from "Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays" to, simply, PFLAG.
Trans Lifeline is dedicated to the well-being of transgender people. They run a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to the needs of community members.
Trans Student Educational Resources
TSER is a youth-led organization dedicated to transforming the educational environments for trans and gender non-conforming students. They work to provide educational resources and materials.
TYFA partners with educators, communities, and service providers to empower parents and families in creating supportive environments where gender can be expressed and respected.
