Testing Center Contact Information and Hours

The Testing Center is currently closed because of Covid 19. Scheduling new exams is not possible at this time.  Please go to https://portal.certiport.com/Locator to find an alternative Testing Center.  As soon as campus reopens testing will resume.

To schedule an appointment time to take a Certification Exam, please email Steve Isachsen at sisachsen@miracosta.edu. All test candidates must have an appointment before arriving to take an exam. If purchasing an Exam Voucher at the Testing Center (see prices below), please plan to arrive 30 minutes earlier than your scheduled exam time. Note that testing appointments are not available during the first two weeks of the semester.

Prices

Test candidates may pre-purchase their Exam Voucher from Certiport or purchase their Exam Voucher upon arrival at the Testing Center (please make your appointment time 30 minutes earlier than your test time, if purchasing Exam Voucher upon arrival at the Testing Center).  The voucher can be used for the following Professional Certifications

Professional Level Certifications

Upon successfully passing the Professional Certification Exam, students will earn the corresponding Profesional Level Certification as shown above. 

If a student earns any three of the four available associate certifications they will become a Microsoft Office Specialist - Associate and earn an additional certification for their accomplishment. If students would like to advance even further and earn any two of the three available expert certifications they will become a Microsoft Office Specialist - Expert and achieve the highest certification within the Microsoft Office Specialist Program.
