Why HSE?
In my HSE class we focus on growing as readers, writers and critical thinkers. My HSE is designed around two goals. 1) successfully completing English 100 and 2) transferring what we’ve learned about academic writing to have success in our other courses. Everything we do in the HSE centers around these two goals; we accomplish these goals by cultivating meaningful relationships, practicing the writing process, discussing complex and sophisticated topics, and familiarizing ourselves with technology and student services. HSE is a unique learning option and an excellent opportunity to develop an academic skillset that sets you up for success in your academic journey.

Personal Interests
I like to listen and nerd out to all types of music. I definitely try to get in a workout everyday and I’m into all kinds of different outdoor sports. When I’m at home, I play MMORPGs, watch movies, binge watch whatever's on and read. In the future, I hope to have more time for printmaking and woodworking.
